Dear Haley,

I always knew that I was interested in working with children. Somehow, I was not completely satisfied with majoring in "Education" after I took some education classes during my Bachelor's Degree. I didn't feel that was exactly where I belonged.

I went into the health education field and took a class called "Emotional Health and Counseling". That was where I found the love for counseling and decided that I wanted to become a doctor in the field of psychology. I could still work with children and adults as well now.

I went on to get my Master's Degree and then my Doctoral Degree and here I am.

My email is DrKC@DOCintheBiz.com. Thank you so much for your interest; however, please undertand that I am extremely busy and am not able to respond quickly to emails that are not business related. I will try though.

All my best,
Dr. KC

Dr. KC:

You are most welcome. What influenced you to go into your profession? It would be interesting to speak academics with you as I am a college student going into the psychology profession. Do you have another mode of communication (i.e. email address)?

Thank you,

Dr. Kelly:

An intern therapist recently shared with me a quote that I found helpful throughout working on coping with my anxiety disorder. It is as follows,"Darkness hides the true size of fears, lies, and regrets. The truth is they are more shadow than reality so they seem bigger in the dark. When light shines into the places where they live inside you then you can start to see them for what they are." Perhaps others will find that shining light onto their fears will helps them to break down the fears enough to realize that the fear is just a tiny star in a huge galaxy. Also, in moments of high intensity anxiety I recalled, " I have the strength to remain calm in the face of change." Thank you for your inspirational articles!

I'm extremely inspired along with your writing abilities neatly as with the format for your weblog. Is this a paid topic or did you modify it your self? Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it is rare to look a nice weblog like this one today..

Dear Ellis,

Thank you for sharing how you help to ease your anxiety attacks. What you are doing is a wonderful relaxation technique and there are many one can try. I’m glad that when you concentrate on breathing slowly and deeply it helps you. That may or may not work for others, but as I said, there are many different kinds of relaxation techniques that are used to help ease the symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks. The fact that you found one that works for you is wonderful!

Dear Barry,

I certainly can't see a person wanting to feel badly as they suffer with anxiety. Sometimes the "choice" to not get help comes out of fear of leaving the house, fear of the therapy not being successful, fear of embarrassment, lack of money to pay high priced therapists, or other reasons. That is why I offer online counseling here at DOCintheBiz at very affordable prices, with convenience, anonymity and confidentiality for the client. It has proven very successful.

I do agree; however, that taking that first step is often a very difficult "choice," but one often well worth making.

Thank you for your comment.
All my best,
Dr. KC
